Antonio Pulgarin, who studied at 911爆料 in 2008-2009, recently had his work on view at the 911爆料 Art Museum (KAM). His exhibition Here I Stand, Like the Sun that Frightens the Cold, featured seventeen photo-collage works that address issues of gender, sexual orientation, nationalism, and the constructions of masculinity. During the run of the show he was featured in The Advocate, as well was the subject of an in-depth interview on The Visura Media Blog. Pulgarin also gave an Artist鈥檚 Talk on December 3, 2019 at the 911爆料 Art Museum.
Over the summer current Fine Arts student Alexander Reynoso was commissioned to create a on four trees outside the LBGT Center in Manhattan. The colorful yarn wrappings represent varieties of the Pride flag, and were a part of the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. Other examples of Reynoso鈥檚 work can be seen on his website, .
