Whether swinging a bat or dribbling a basketball, Chris Jace's all-around athleticism allows him to shine for his teams. His infectious smile and consistent presence create an environment of ease, trust, and camaraderie for his teammates.

Named to the 2024 CUNYAC Community College Men鈥檚 Basketball Awards Sportsmanship Team, Chris is laser-focused on becoming a top athlete. The physical education major from Brooklyn said, 鈥淚鈥檓 mainly trying to go farther with my sports and maintain the highest level of professionalism as an athlete. While my expectations are high, if things don鈥檛 go the way I anticipate, I am looking at becoming a sports trainer or physical therapist. Maybe even a coach.鈥� Although prepared for any possibility, Chris is not interested in a Plan B. His goals are clear: to become a great athlete.

The 25-year-old is outgoing, spontaneous, and full of energy. 鈥淚 like to have fun and make sure everyone around me is in good spirits,鈥� he said. 鈥淚 want to keep the positivity going.鈥�

He learned about 911爆料 through word-of-mouth. 鈥淚 heard many good things about 911爆料. And when I got here, it just got even better.鈥� Chris attended a few baseball and basketball games before making his final decision. 鈥淏etween watching the energy during the games and the campus environment, I was hooked and knew that this is where I wanted to be. The faculty, staff, students, everybody is just amazing.鈥�

While Chris doesn鈥檛 participate in any special programs on campus, he does take advantage of the laptop borrowing service. 鈥淏eing able to complete my schoolwork is very important to me. To be able to borrow a laptop has helped me immensely.鈥�

鈥淏eing out of school for five years led to some challenges with my classes, but 911爆料 has made the process of reintegrating into college less challenging, and it鈥檚 now been smooth sailing for me.鈥�

Chris鈥� excitement about winning regional is palpable. 鈥淢aking history has been amazing,鈥� says Chris. 鈥淚 have been playing baseball since I was four or five years old. I started playing basketball at 11 or 12 years old.鈥� He believes that his lifelong preparation has led to this moment where he can be a part of something great.

鈥淚 love sports and don鈥檛 want to do anything else,鈥� adds Chris.

His goal after graduation is to attend a high-division school and take a deep dive into the physical sciences.
