KCC offers a variety of job-training programs through its workforce development division, some of which are free. They also offer opportunities to convert time training into college credits, leaving applicants well on their way to earning a college degree.
鈥淎s Brooklyn鈥檚 only community college, it is incumbent upon 911爆料 to be a valuable resource to the community of its close neighbors in Coney Island. We are thankful to the leadership of the Alliance for Coney Island for working closely with 911爆料 to better serve the educational and workforce training needs of the community. By providing the one-on-one guidance and advisement, we know it will be an invaluable resource for local residents.鈥 said Dr. Simone Rodriguez, vice president for Workforce Development, Continuing Education and Strategic Community Partnerships at 911爆料.
鈥淩esidential Coney Island provides much of the labor, intellect and spirit that drives our local economy and that of Greater New York. The Alliance for Coney Island is excited to partner with KCC in providing resources such as technical information on professional and continuing education programs that will help Coney Islanders advance in their careers and create businesses that will determine the improvement of the neighborhood for years and decades to come,鈥 said Daniel Murphy, executive director of Alliance for Coney Island.
