New Full-Time Faculty for Fall 2024

Building on her experience as an adjunct since 2015, Paula Saff joins 911爆料 Community College鈥檚 business department as a full-time lecturer, where she will be teaching accounting classes. With over 20 years of real estate accounting experience, the Brooklyn native brings practical knowledge to her accounting classes.
Paula began her teaching career at Brooklyn College in 2014 after earning her second bachelor's degree in accounting. 鈥淎 faculty member was going on emergency medical leave and asked if I could fill in for her for two weeks. Those two weeks turned into two months,鈥 she recalled. That was enough to spark her passion for teaching. She taught at Brooklyn College for another semester, applied for an adjunct position at 911爆料, and has been here since.
While teaching at 911爆料, she earned a master鈥檚 degree in accounting from Brooklyn College using CUNY鈥檚 tuition benefit. She also studied for and passed the four CPA exams and became a licensed CPA.
鈥淚 enjoy being in front of the classroom and love the student body at 911爆料,鈥 she said. 鈥淢any come from other countries and appreciate being in the United States. They are eager to learn and enthusiastic about their studies鈥攁nd curious about careers in accounting.鈥 She enjoys hearing from former students and often stays in touch with them as they advance in their careers.
A grandmother of five, Paula has strong family ties to 911爆料. Two of her sons attended KCC, one of whom graduated and continued to Baruch College, while the other transferred to Brooklyn College. Her husband is also a 911爆料 graduate.
