Claiming your CUNYfirst account

1. Go to 
2. On the Login page, click 鈥楴ew User鈥�
3. On the Account Activation page, enter the following:
4. First Name, Last Name as they appear on your submitted application.
5. Date of Birth (鈥楧.O.B鈥�) in mm/dd/yyyy format (example: 01/02/1999)
6. The last four digits of your Social Security Number in the 鈥楽S#鈥� field. Applicants who do not provide a Social Security Number will be provided their assigned four-digit number in their account claim email.
7. Click the box next to the words 鈥淚鈥檓 not a robot鈥� and follow the CAPTCHA text prompts.
8. Confirm your email or enter a new email address
9. Receive an email with unique account activation confirmation link (valid for two hours)
10. Click to confirm your email address and set your password
11. Set your password retrieval questions
