March 6 Updates
The Campus Community,
Our entire Custodial team has been directed to concentrate on wiping surfaces as a primary part of their duty.
We have developed a 鈥淐lean Team鈥� that will focus on sanitizing high traffic and high touch areas in public spaces throughout the campus.
These areas include:
- Counter Tops
- Table Tops
- Doors
- Door Knobs/ Handles
- Restroom Partitions
- Toilets
- Sinks
- Elevator Call Buttons
- Elevator Walls
- Stair Case Handrails
- Water fountains
- Benches
- Ledges
- Any other high touch area
Our nighttime and weekend Custodians are focusing on deep cleaning classrooms and restrooms while also sanitizing high touch areas with a Viracide solution.
We have posted 鈥淲ash Hands鈥� posters in every restroom and have mounted more than 600 signs throughout the campus encouraging everyone to 鈥淐over your Cough鈥� and 鈥淲ash your Hands鈥�
We have also re-filled 40 hand sanitizing dispensers and mounted an additional 75. These are located in corridors and public spaces of high traffic areas.
We are waiting for a delivery of approximately 200 additional hand sanitizing dispensers that will be deployed campus wide, along with a delivery of 240 tubes of sanitizing wipes that will be deployed in classrooms.
