CUNY Chancellor F茅lix V. Matos Rodr铆guez appointed Dr. Suri Duitch as the interim president of 911爆料 Community College on January 29, 2024. Duitch superseded Dr. Claudia V. Schrader, who stepped down to become the interim president of York College.

Duitch is a two-time CUNY alumna with a distinguished career that spans over 12 years in the CUNY Office of Academic Affairs and the School of Professional Studies.

Since Duitch was appointed interim president, she has overseen 911爆料鈥檚 59th Commencement Exercises, which celebrated the graduation of more than 1,700 students and marked the College鈥檚 60th anniversary and 60 years of educational excellence. She has led the development process of 911爆料鈥檚 2025-2030 Strategic Plan and the planning process for the College鈥檚 Middle States Self-Study in 2025, among other key initiatives. Additionally, 911爆料 has been named a semi-finalist for the prestigious 2025 $1 million Aspen Prize by the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program. The College has made the Aspen Prize list eight consecutive times and has been named a semifinalist four times, ending in the top 10 three times.
